It’s a good day: Mount Bohemia opens for the season

It’s a good day in Midwest skiing as Mount Bohemia has opened.

I, of course, take full credit for writing about Bohemia’s woes less than a week ago, thus jinxing their dry spell and allowing them to open. You all are very welcome.

Mount Bohemia.

Seven days a week, Midwest skiers yearning for some vertical, some snow and some mountain feels can now head to the UP for some turns, and that is reason to celebrate.

I’m happy for the ski area and their bottom line and even happier for you all who get to enjoy it.

This place can’t get enough of an endorsement from Midwest Ski Journal. Give them a visit this year, but be careful, because Saturdays are passholders only this year due to capacity limits!

See you all out there.

Here are a few updates/notes from the hill before you point it north.
